The inspiration for The Yiros Shop was the lack of quality Greek takeaway restaurants in Brisbane. Our founder, Nicholas Mitrossilis, set out to remedy this. In 2015, his vision of a Greek food paradise – with a featuring amazing recipes that have been passed on for generations – was brought to life.
In just a few short years, word quickly spread of our mouth-watering authentic Greek cuisine. As such, our family-run business has grown from one restaurant in James Street, Fortitude Valley, to 15 (and counting). Though our reputation for serving quality food fast grows stronger each day, we aren’t content to rest on our laurels. We regularly run promotions, offer a to reward our faithful customers and even provide in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
